I've been playing with some ideas about online news sites for some time now. One day I found myself at New York Observer website, thinking how hard it is for an outsider to get anything out of local news. How about a site that would be targeted to outsiders? It would probably be more entertaining than informative as a daily news site, but would provide an easy to access continuous long-term story for newcomers who would like to learn more about the background of some specific issues or people.

The site would provide relevant news content for "outsiders" and pr for those cities or countries for what the site is about.
