Anything in the web that can capture the attention of anyone for two hours on the first visit to the site is worth bookmarking.

Easy to read and makes a lot of sense (to me anyway).

"We Feel Fine is an exploration of human emotion on a global scale."

The site contains a web application that organizes and visualizes content drawn from a number of weblogs by feeling. I picked this one up from the Ted talks today as the other one of the creators gave a pretty good presentation about it.

Slightly more fun than searching google.

So far the best site that I've found to gather information on all this type of software in one place. Both free and commercial applications.

An eye-opening presentation that shows that statistics can be entertaining too.

I already posted the link for TED website, but I just have to try out this embedded video thing.

The site is slightly confusing but once you find the many insightful articles there are quite many of them.

This one looks a bit out-dated too but has links to many interesting on-line resources.

There seems to be quite a bunch of blogs watching new startups now that I've started looking for them. Here's one more which made a good first impression on me. They have about 5 new posts a day at the moment.
